This year has indeed been like no other. While some of our older members who can recall the Second World War recount how the Order decided to halt parades and other public events. However even for those who served there was still the prospect of meetings.
We are indeed at war, against an unseen enemy and as we move out of lockdown we remain vigilant. Many of our members are still shielding either due to their own health, or because their family cares for an older relative, or they are in front line occupations.

Just as our forebearers the Knights Hospitallers we have been active in providing practical care and support for those most affected by the pandemic.
Working with other loyal orders such as the Independent Loyal Orange Institution in order to maximise the buying power and impact of donations we have been glad to se our members helping local charities and communities.

Two members of our Order played a leading role in a recent fundraising mission which saw the purchase and supply of PPE and other vital equipment to frontline NHS staff.
Sir Knight James Anderson who currently holds the office of Imperial Grand Master of the ILOI and Sir Knight Ian Kennedy band master of Garryduff Flute Band took part in the presentation recently.
