Fighting Together

At a time when many are feeling powerless and confused, we hope to give leadership and some practical support and guidance. As an Order with a long heritage of support for the sick we hope that our advise and support will offer some comfort at this time. The first action we have agreed upon is to support the Government in terms of Prevention. Helping to limit the spread of this virus will save hundreds of lives in Northern Ireland and thousands across the UK and Ireland.

Information is power in the battle against the pandemic, and if anyone has questions please reach out to us here at the site and we will provide information and advice where possible. The second element of our work will be practical support and we combine this in our first Health Care Malta Monitor and advice and information leaflet.

Read it share it and download it making the advice available to others. We have identified the real need for basics like hand sanitiser which is running dangerously low. With shops sold out and many unscrupulous individuals and firms stockpiling it and selling it at extortionate rates we hope to alleviate this problem with simple advise on how to make your own.

We would urge caution and encourage only adults to do this, however the ingredients are natural and effective and will certainly do what is needed to help people stay safe.

We would urge our members and those reading this to pass on this recipe and even to consider making and delivering bottles of this to those most vulnerable in society. Together we can do our bit to save lives and literally heal our nation. We are also mindful of God’s promise to heal our land.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

At a time when we have seen church doors closed for the first time, and have for perhaps the first Sunday in our lives been left without a place of worship let us to take hope in the all present, all powerful God we serve. He is not found alone in the cathedral or the church but in the home and the workplace, and is an ever present help in times of trouble.

Let us all pray for protection and deliverance and the strength to carry on and help one another, let us pray that he will indeed literally and spiritually heal our land.

READ and DOWNLOAD our Malta Monitor Leaflet. It will help you address one of the most worrying shortages at present and help keep you and your loved ones safe.
