Colorado Drops Case Against Masterpiece Cake Designer Jack Phillips
Knights of Malta on both sides of the Atlantic have been vocal and active in defence of Christian rights in two remarkable similar cases. In each case a Christian cake maker was attacked and dragged through the courts and in both cases they have prevailed. In this America’s Ashers case we give thanks for the vindication of rights and for an end to this persecution of Christians for their beliefs.
The Colorado Civil Rights Commission has dropped its case against Masterpiece Cakeshop owner Jack Phillips, the Alliance Defending Freedom has announced today.Said ADF Senior Vice-President Kristen Waggoner (who argued the Phillips case before the Supreme Court), “Jack’s victory is great news for everyone. Tolerance and respect for good-faith differences of opinion are essential in a diverse society like ours.”For the full story from ADF, click here. And see additional resources below.
